Just after 5pm, Ladder and Engine 18 were alerted to assist Wilmington Manor on a Multi-Residential Structure Fire. Ladder 18 made a quick response and arrived as the second due special service. Ladder 18 was reassigned by command to take a line to the fire apartment. During this time, command struck a second alarm. The crew of Ladder 18 stretched a second line off of Engine 32 and advanced the line to the fire apartment where the crews from Ladder 18 and Ladder 12 made a push. The crews knocked down the fire and made the searches. Engine 18 arrived and positioned in the rear and was assigned the search of the third floor. Command later scaled back the second alarm companies and held the scene to units operating. Good Will crews operated on the scene for approximately 90 minutes before returning to service.
