Squad Runs Another Fire in Collins Park

Just after 7pm, Squad 18 was dispatched to the 200 block of May Ave in the Collins Park community for a Residential Fire. Squad 18 responded quickly. Upon arrival, the crew secured the water supply and stretched a handline to the house where smoke was coming from the attic area. The members made it into the attic and extinguished the fire quickly. Additional arriving units assisted with searches and overhaul. The Squad operated for just over an hour before returning to service.
