Commercial Fire at Lowes in Minquadale

On Sunday afternoon, Minquadale was alerted for a Commercial Fire Alarm at the Lowes on Dupont Highway. While responding, an additonal call was received from the location reporting a fire in the storage area. The assignment was upgraded to a box alarm which included Ladder and Engine 18. Upon the arrival of Ladder 18, the crew was directed to the roof area to check for extension. Engine 18 arrived and was directed to set up ventilation in the building. The fire was quickly knocked down by Engine's 22 and 20. Units operated on the scene for 90 minutes before clearing.
