Residential Fire in Castle Hills

Around 1:30pm on Saturday August 4th, the box alarm was struck for a house filling with smoke on the unit block of Maynard Drive in Castle Hills. Engine 18 and Chief 18 responded. Upon arrival, Chief 18 reported smoke showing. While Engine 18 and Engine 20 arrived at the same time and investigatd. Crews found a fire in the kitchen wall. Crews extinguished the fire with a water can and checked for extension. The box was reduced to Engines 18 and 20, Ladders 12 and 18, and Rescue Engine 226
