Over the weekend, members from Good Will, Delaware City, Christiana, Wilmington Manor, and the City of Wilmington Fire Dept. completed the Swiftwater Rescue Operations Class. Friday night, members attended the classroom session. Saturday morning, everyone was up early to head to Front Royal, VA. The crews spend two days operating on the South Fork of the Shenandoah River (Compton Rapids). There, the members worked through skill stations including hydrology and river reading, rescue techniques, victim retrieval, and many others.
