Commercial Vehicle Fire on Grantham Lane

In the evening hours, Station 18 and Engine 32 were alerted to a commercial vehicle fire on the 700 block of Grantham Lane. Engine 18, Engine 28, and Engine 32 all responded. Upon arrival, Engine 18's officer reported the tractor portion of a tractor trailer fully involved. The crews worked to sucessfully extinguish the fire. Units operated for approvimatly 90 minutes befire clearing. The scene was turned over to the Delaware State Fire Marshalls Office.
