Early Morning House Fire

At 1:30am Wednesday morning, the box alarm was dispatched for the unit block of Luray Road in Jefferson Farms. Units arrived to find smoke showing from a two story home. Crews placed two lines in service and extinguished the fire. All searches proved negative. The fire was brought under control in less than 30 minutes. Units operating included Engines 18,22,12,20, Ladders 18,12,28, Rescue 23, Ambulance 30, and New Castle County Paramedics.
