First Due House Fire

Yesterday evening at 5pm, the station was alerted for a House Fire in the unit block of West University Ave in Wilmington Manor Gardens. Engine 18 and Chief 18 made the response. Upon arrival, Chief 18 reported smoke showing. Engine 18 arrived as the first due engine, securing a water supply and deploying a handline. Crews found a kitchen fire that was quickly extinguished. Assisting companies included Wilmington Manor Fire Company, Minquadale Fire Company, Christiana Fire, Holloway Terrace Fire Co., Cranston Heights Fire Company, and Minquas Fire Company #1.
